NANA's 70! Happy Birthday, Nana!

We celebrated Nana's 70th birthday at our house with dinner and games.

Coen, Nana and Lindsey at our house.

Lindsey helped prepare the meal and ready the house, including setting the table.

Our dinner was a favorite of Southern Hospitality's: Chicken Imperiale. It was yummy!

The dinner table.
Sandie was very interested in dinner that night. Oh, I'm sure she just wanted to assure Nana had a good meal and a great time...
Sandie's lil sniffer ... sniffing away ... HEY! What's up there on that table?

After dinner, we played Mexican Train. Fierce competition with some gouging of nails into hands and fingers as some tried to pick their dominoes. Much rivalry at the table. Occasional yelling. But no blood.
Contemplating his move.

Hot and sweaty with this move...

Must have gotten his way!
A devious smile he has!

We kept using up all the "trains" and had to resort to keys.

Just shoot 'em Gayle! If you can't win, then just shoot 'em!
Later in the evening, Coen demonstrated one of his physics experiments for Gayle. The demo is posted earlier on this blog, but here's his re-enactment for her.

Could you show me one more time, Coen? I've almost got the concept.
